The Enhanced Rock Weathering Project, has now established its seventh and final trial site.
This new trial is located in a temperate region characterised by dry, warm summers, where wheat, barley and canola are typically grown. For this first crop, broad beans will be planted.
This work is essential for improving our understanding of the potential of enhanced rock weathering to sequester carbon and improve soil health in dryland farming systems in southern Australia.
